The Aligned Approch
After teaching across the country, earning my master's from Boston College, and working with students from preschool through high school, I've realized that meaningful education is possible when we have a clear philosophy. The Aligned Approach is the framework that guides everything I create, built on five core principles: Reflection Before Action, Student Voice Before Assumptions, Sustainable Systems Over Heroic Effort, Accessibility Through Flexibility, and Community Through Connection. These ideas shape how I teach, mentor educators, design resources, and facilitate professional learning, always with the goal of creating classrooms where people feel empowered, supported, and able to thrive.
