A Sunday evening by the ocean. Journaling, drums, sunset, and good people.
I've lived in Santa Monica for a few years now, and Sunday nights at the Venice Drum Circle have become one of my favorite traditions in Los Angeles.
If you've never been, it's hard to explain.
As the sun starts to go down, hundreds of people gather on the beach. There are drums everywhere. People dancing barefoot in the sand. Hula hoopers. The light-up bike parade usually rolls through. Families, travelers, musicians, people walking their dogs... it somehow feels both exciting and incredibly peaceful at the same time.
So I thought...
